Shop Update!

Hello all

I have had a little shop update these last couple of days, it was a bank holiday Monday just gone here in France and I managed to be quite productive!

I have stepped into the realm of rings and I quite like it.
First up I made an abstract poppy ring, I actually got the image from a fried egg but thought it look like an abstract flower once I had soldered in the central ball.

Next I made this rustic floral ring, I originally made it to fit me but as I am a large ring size and I wanted to put it into my shop, I re-sized it.

I have a couple more pieces which still need to be added, stay tuned!

Macro Mondays

I decided to join a couple of groups on Flickr to help me improve my photography and Macro Monday is one of them.

This weeks theme is 'Unexpected' and above is my contribution.

Riveted

I made this new necklace, I think it is pretty cool! My first go at riveting too.
It is 2 copper pieces, the first with my pierced design and the second I have oxidized and attached underneath so the patina shows through the design.  It is quite a heavy piece so I think I need to experiment a bit more when my new supplies arrive.

Happy weekend all :)

Some more pendants & other news

Here is another of my new Art Clay pendants which I really love.  The is made by backfilling the silver with polymer clay, it works really well I think.

I have listed this in my Etsy shop along with some others too.  I have also opened a shop over at Folksy.com I have listed the same 3 silver pendants that are in my Etsy store as the design I have used can be easily replicated.  Folksy is another Etsy type site for all handmade products and it is U.K based, yay so prices are in Sterling for all the U.K buyers out there.

I hope to have some new earrings in the shop over the weekend as I am experimenting with paper clay at the moment so watch this space!
